The purpose of this project was to successfully complete a full 11" x 17" magazine spread incorporating design grids using Adobe InDesign. The article should be a report of a specific influential designer while at the same time reflecting that individual artist's style.
The headline and subtitle design is meant to reflect Lubalin's own exploration of typography as an expressive art form. However, the body copy uses a clean san serif typeface as to not overwhelm the reader.
The pull out quote is an homage to Lubalin's headline work with Fact magazine.
